Kelly - Owner

With 19 years of experience this owner thrives on the energy from her guests and her team. Kelly has had a very impressive career to date. She has been an educator and travelled all around North America teaching and has worked with teams from as far away as Europe. She has owned two salons, and a distributor. She has won several awards for hairdressing and make-up and was also the recipient of the Eric Vanderham Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.  Kelly will be the first to tell you that she has committed to being a life long learner and attends every educational event that she can. Kelly brings her passion for the industry and life to every guest that comes through the doors.

Vanessa - Esthetician

Graduated with Honours from Kosmatae in 2003 Vanessa truly cares about the well-being of her guests. Vanessa is known as one of the Fraser Valley's best Brazillian waxers. Vanessa is a trained Eminence Organics technician and keeps up to date on all the new industry technology by attending education on a regular basis. Vanessa has a huge heart and brilliant sense of humour and absolutely loves her career.

Melanie- Senior Stylist

Mel began her hair design training at Hollywood North school of beauty, in 1996. After graduating , she began to assist at a salon in Burnaby for the first year of her career. After that year, she felt more comfortable in her abilities to begin work at a salon called Simple Scissors for the next 5years. Within that 5 year period there was a few changes in her life that inspired her to want more. In 2003, she began instructing at Utopia Academy of Hair Design and fell in love with educating. Over the past 9 years Mel has worked her way up to senior instructor of the hair design faculty at Utopia Academy and have worked at THELOFT Hair Studio and Beauty Bar since June 2012. Being able to train students the art of hair design along with keeping up to date with her skill set in salon is truly being able to live the dream.

Allison- Nail Technician

Allison started her career 12 years ago another local spa in Abbotsford as an apprentice Laser Tech. Allison went on to take her Nail Technician course and complete her certification.

Allison joined THELOFT in October and has been busy providing gel nail services to our guests. Allison is also training to perform NOVALASH eyelash extensions.

Allison is a fun-loving, warm hearted and passionate about her work.
